Ocd's ''Ross Partridge'' takes first place at the BCAC's on Lamby Lake!!!

Congratulations to Ross Partridge for winning the BCAC''s Lamby heat!

 Fronting his nice new OCD Gear Ross dropped a spot and was down to third place on saturday evening! then the fish were moving in as we left him about 8pm! he finished up having a banker night with a final weight of 121lb

A few freebies for the top three and the top 2 now go onto the final in Oxford!Bring it on! 

First place went to Ocd's Ross Partidge with 121lb

Jason Massay in second place with 95 lb

third place went to Chris Robinson with 84 lb!

Michael Koester's on a mission!

Here's our main man team Korda's ''Michael Koester'' fronting the OCD slouch beanie and a Olive Glugged heavyweight hoody in style!

The man is a force to be reckoned with so watch out carp. All ready this year he has stacked up an impressive 21 Fish up to 35lbs and on his last session stalked 3 fish up to 32lbs ! His list includes 15 fish over 20lbs and 3 over thirty and its only April! His latest challenge is a new 150 acre old gravel pit with a small head of 30 carp!!!!! the guy likes a challenge and never ceases to find time to enjoy his fishing and not take life too seriously!

The Lost Rod!

A quick 24hrs on my local water resulted in about a dozen carp a and a lost rod! Watched the small linear take my bait !!!! as i went to pick up the rod saw it going through the water passed me! SHIIIIT! the butts were on the floor with the tips on alarms and had obviously bounced out!!!!!! I followed it about 50 ft when luckily it hit a snag and stopped on the bottom.
At this point i was stripping off to my pants to go in thinkin what a Noddy I am! then the other rod started to rattle?!F*&k!?!?!? thinking the rods were connected somehow i picked up the other rod and it was solid with nothing movin?? opened the bail arm and went back to my other sunken rods which was sitting in about 15ft of crystal clear water?!?! I was starring at it thinking '' I gotta go in! I gotta go in! what to do!!!!!!??????
Total panic and trying to remain cool! and all this under the praying eyes of another club member on the opposite bank :]
Scrambling around i luckily found the clubs rake/rope and started bashing the water to bits and fifth cast got my rod!:] , I got the rod out and started taking up the slack but the line by the first eye was snagged!!!! pulled/wiggled nothing eventually it snapped off at the reel in the water! I still had both ends of the line so quickly tying the 2 ends together hoping nothing else could happen? Reeled in the slack and found i was still connected to a spritely little mirror! robbing bastard! :] Anyway the moral is?!?!?!? Dont be twat like me! lock then butts down!!:]
